Conserval presents its sustainable model at the I Circular Economy National Congress

Project CONSERVAL presented its own stand at the I Circular Economy and Environmental Communication National Congress (ECCA), taking part in these forum for circular education, green entrepreneurism and sustainability. The gathering allowed for experiences and exemplary cases to be shared through various areas for exhibition, networking and conferences, within a hybrid showcase with online presence and institutional headquarters at Sevilla.

The ECCA, organised by Ciconia Consultores Ambientales and the Ansemac association, gave CONSERVAL the opportunity to share its sustainable model with countless agents in the sector, with seventy panelists and four hundred attendees along three days, October 5th, 6th and 7th. The Congress was composed of keynotes, workshops and scientific exhibitions, and also mentoring sessions about methodology, funding or the new Circular Economy Action Plan from the European Union.

With FEUGA acting as sponsor, CONSERVAL installed a networking space with a virtual stand with informative materials, while appearing in several advertising platforms, including commercial dossiers, an exhibition area and spots between communications. Furthermore, the project was accommpanied by Ecoval, its sibling initiative within the Interreg programme.

They both are examples of innovative scopes for a true circular economy: CONSERVAL transforms by-products and waste water from the canning industry from Galicia and Northern Portugal, obtaining high-value intermediate products for food, cosmetics, fuel or pharma; while Ecoval aims to give value to organic urban waste and sewage sludge within the SUDOE region, which comprises the Iberian Peninsula, Andorra and the south-east of France, in order to provide with fertilisers, lubricants or plastics.

That is why the ocassion was not to be missed, specially in terms of training in such a diverse environment, spanning from taxation to logistics or secondary raw materials. The programme highlighted the Circular Economy Foundation, the Circular Economy Cathedra from the Sevilla University, and the Circular Economy Innovation and Development Center, alongside with public institutions, private entities with international reach, associations and corporate, communication or sustainability forums: Acciona, Caixabank, Cespa, CSIC, Ecoembes, FCC, Randstad, Repsol or Tragsa, to cite some.
