CONSERVAL is now a member of the Biorefine Cluster Europe (BCE), a European network that interconnects projects and people in the field of bio-based resource recovery, striving to contribute to a more sustainable management of resources. Also the Green Project Expo (GPE), an international platform created to connect and communicate innovative projects from different economic sectors seeking to build a more sustainable world.
Founded during the Interreg NWE project, Biorefine (2011-2015), coordinated by Ghent University, ECB, includes several projects addressing similar topics such as water reclamation, nutrient recovery, biomaterials and eco-design, value chain assessment, extraction and use of biochemicals or renewable bioenergy. Being part of this programme means joining a very active European biocluster, consisting of more than 27 countries, 30 project members, 750 experts and 250 different organisations.
Green Porject Expo serves as a large-scale digital exhibition to reach a wide audience, create and disseminate events or make contacts. It brings together various projects from all kinds of industries, from transport to health, energy efficiency, technology, forest management, agriculture, oil and gas or bio-waste and CO2. CONSERVAL is included in the “Water Management” category, where it shares space with Proteus, favouring the creation of networks between related projects.
CONSERVAL’s presence in these new digital spaces that act as a loudspeaker brings it closer to achieving its communication and dissemination objectives. Belonging to these platforms offers a great opportunity for the project in terms of visibility, impact, contribution to policy, development of synergies, optimisation of resources and networking.
